The direct sunlight from our Sanctuary windows had dried the fabric on our pew seats and begin to tear all across the seating areas. We contacted a couple companies within Southern California, however was unsuccessful reaching the right terms for this project. Our residence for older Sisters needed the chapel furniture refinished and recovered. Worship Interiors came highly recommended. They were swift with a cost proposal, working from measurements and pictures we sent, allowing this method because of the COVID pandemic.
Two men came, being very polite, and going about their work steadily, to pick up the furniture. Worship Interiors kept the furniture after the job was completed for a few extra weeks, our facility being in quarantine.

When our parish decided to embark on a major $2.5 million dollar church interior restoration project, we knew we would need to find someone to refurbish all 32 of our old pews. Fortunately, we found Eric Voorhees, owner of Worship Interiors Group to help us get the job done. We visited St. Brigid's parish in Pacific Beach first, to see their pews which had recently been restored by Eric. Afterwards, we knew we were on the right track. We invited him to join us in a couple of project plan meetings to get a feel for what to expect from him. He was knowledgeable, thorough, and proved by his experience that he would be a good team player during our project.
He was a good listener and prepared a detailed proposal for the pews, which we accepted. He worked on sampling the color of stain that we liked. In addition to the pews, we also decided to have several other wood items refurbished by him so that everything matched nicely. He had good resources to get custom fabric for chairs, and vinyl replaced on kneelers. He was able to arrange for storage of finished work until new flooring was completed. His pricing was fair, and he also did an excellent job of keeping the invoices and accounting up-to-date.

The pews turn out better than we could have ever imagined. They are warm and soft and gorgeous. And it's just what that room needed to soften it up. When the morning light hits them during service it's just magical. I can't take my eyes off them. And…the cherry on the top is the kneelers!!! We haven't had kneelers for 13 years, and everyone has commented that it's so nice to have those back. We are loving all of it.
Thank you again for all your hard work on our pews. They turned out perfect, and we appreciate the detail and care you put into them to make them perfect. We are enjoying them, and when I'm in the sanctuary, I can't take my hands off of them. They are so soft and pretty.
