When It's Time to Reupholster

Even the most durable church fabrics fade, thin, and stain after years of weekly use. If your pew seats show worn patches, flattened padding, water stains, or colors that have drifted from the rest of your sanctuary, reupholstering restores comfort and appearance in one project — at far lower cost than new seating.

Fabrics and Materials

You choose from a wide range of commercial-grade, stain- and water-resistant fabrics and vinyls in colors that fit your sanctuary — or we can source a custom fabric to match existing carpet, paint, or furnishings. Underneath, we replace tired padding with new high-density foam so pews are as comfortable as they are beautiful.

Our Process

  1. Free on-site estimate with fabric samples and a firm written quote.
  2. Fabric selection — swatches in your sanctuary lighting, so colors are chosen where they'll live.
  3. Careful removal of old fabric and padding, with any needed frame or joint repairs done at the same time.
  4. New high-density foam and expert upholstering, cut and fitted to each pew.
  5. Reinstallation and final walkthrough — done on schedule, so your congregation isn't left waiting.

Cushions & Kneelers Too

Reupholstering is the perfect time to upgrade the rest of the pew. We build custom pew cushions backed by a 15-year warranty covering seams, buttons, and fabric wear, and we re-pad and re-cover kneelers with new foam and durable vinyl. Many churches bundle pews, cushions, and kneelers into one project — one crew, one timeline, one color story.

Combine With Refinishing

Wood worn too? Most of our projects combine reupholstery with pew refinishing — the pews leave your sanctuary once and come back fully restored, wood and fabric together. Combining both services in one project is the most cost-effective way to do a complete restoration.

What happens to the old padding?

We remove it completely and replace it with new high-density foam. Re-covering old, compressed padding never delivers lasting comfort, so we don't do it.

How long does a reupholstery project take?

Most projects are completed in phases so your sanctuary stays in use. Exact timelines depend on pew count and fabric availability — your written quote includes a schedule, and we pride ourselves on hitting it.

Can you match our carpet or existing color scheme?

Yes. We bring fabric and vinyl samples to your sanctuary and can source custom fabrics to coordinate with carpet, paint, and furnishings.
