Don't Let Small Damage Become Big Damage

A wobbly pew is more than an annoyance — it's a safety issue, and it only gets worse with use. Loose joints work themselves looser every Sunday, small cracks spread, and water damage quietly darkens wood. The good news: nearly all of it is repairable, at a fraction of the cost of replacement.

With decades of church furniture restoration behind us, we've repaired just about every kind of pew damage there is — wood cracks, chipped veneers, failed glue joints, broken ends and supports — with precision that makes the repair invisible.

What We Repair

  • Loose or failed joints — re-glued and reinforced for daily use
  • Cracked or broken supports and pew ends
  • Split, gouged, or water-damaged wood
  • Chipped and lifting veneer
  • Worn or broken hardware, including kneeler mechanisms
  • Squeaks, wobbles, and floor-anchor problems

Repair as Part of a Bigger Restoration

Repairs are included in every refinishing project we do — pews come back structurally sound, not just beautiful. If your pews need more than spot repairs, a full refinishing or reupholstery project is often the smarter investment: one crew, one timeline, everything restored at once.

Local and Reliable

Because we're based in Riverside, California — not across the country — we can respond quickly, whether that's a handful of broken pews before Easter or a sanctuary-wide restoration. If something ever needs attention after a project, we're close enough to come fix it.

What Churches Say

"The craftsmanship was excellent! The level of quality that they put into their work was not what you usually get today, but what you could have expected 50 years ago. And on top of that, they were by far the least expensive of the quotes that we got!" — Sandy Traverso

Frequently Asked Questions

Is it worth repairing old church pews?

Almost always. Older pews are typically solid hardwood of a quality that's expensive to buy today. Repair costs a small fraction of replacement and preserves furniture your congregation has worshipped in for generations.

Can you fix pews on-site, or do they have to leave the church?

Many structural repairs can be done on-site. Damage that needs workshop equipment — major joint failures, veneer work, refinishing — is handled at our Riverside facility, with pickup and reinstallation phased around your services.

How much does pew repair cost?

It depends entirely on the damage. After a free on-site inspection we'll give you a firm written quote — and if a repair isn't worth doing, we'll tell you that too.

Our kneelers are broken — can you fix those?

Yes. We repair kneeler mechanisms and re-pad and re-cover kneelers, or replace them with new metal-framed kneelers built for quiet operation.
